The 31st Annual Union Street Festival is one of San Francisco's largest free art festivals. More than 100,000 attendees come from all over the United States to enjoy the event. The festival features 200 artists, 20 gourmet food booths, live entertainment on two stages, bistro style cafes, spacious wine & beer gardens and a large family adventure area with children's activities and hands-on art projects.

To help celebrate the 31st anniversary of this great Festival, Union Street will be featuring a number of activities at the event representing the unique history of the Union Street Festival. Take a walk back in time at a special photographic exhibit showcasing what Union Street looked like 100 years ago.

San Francisco's oldest street fair delights with juried arts and crafts, Celebrity Pizza Toss, Live Entertainment Stages with Alternative, Rhythm & Blues, Latin Rock, Pop Rock, Reggae, Salsa and Swing, Cooking Stage, Celebrity Chefs, Assisi Animal Blessings (2:00 pm, both days, Vallejo/ Columbus), Arte di Gesso (Italian street chalk art 600 block of Vallejo), Participate in the Festival’s New Recycled Art Presentation by Sculptor Terry Marashlian, on Vallejo. Sponsored by the North Beach Chamber of Commerce. Validated parking is available.

Validated parking $3.00 a day from 9 am - 10 pm. Golden Gateway Garage, 250 Clay, between Battery & Drumm. A “Park & Ride Shuttle” bus departs every few minutes. Ask for the Broadway Columbus stop. The festival is one block north. The return stop is at Grant & Broadway. Look for the red and white “Park & Ride” sign. The ONLY validation stamp is located at Calzone’s Restaurant, 430 Columbus Avenue. No purchase necessary.
